Introduction to Digital Photography
6 week hands-on class, Tuesdays 7 - 9:30
Learn the basics of digital photography, from choosing the right camera and printer to making prints and sharing your images on the web. The mysteries of dpi, ppi, megapixels, and different camera features will be explained. You'll learn how to compose your images and determine the best lighting conditions. You'll also get to know some of the tips and tricks that the pros use to get the best shots. You'll also get instruction in Adobe Photoshop to correct, retouch, print, and e-mail your images. This class is hands-on and teaches techniques you can start using right away in an easy, down to earth style by the only Adobe Certified Expert Instructor in the area. This class is designed for both Windows and Macintosh users. Previous computer experience is recommended.
